There has been so much loss lately in my life, but this tops it all.

My father, who I love so dearly, passed away after a lengthy battle with multiple illnesses. While I take comfort that he’s no longer suffering, I will never see his smile or hear his voice again. It’s only been a few hours, and I miss him terribly.

It’s going to take a long, long time to recover from this…
