Dearest fans, my newest album Eternity is finally now available worldwide. Listen to the entire album here.
It is available on iTunes, AmazonMP3, Pandora, Slacker, Tidal, and every web delivery platform you can possibly think of. I will slowly update the site with the direct links to the album.
This is my 6th album professionally released. It was definitely laborious, and I endured much personal loss during this time. It is a reflection of all my experiences, and helps me to share my story to the world…without words.
Again, today is indeed a very special day. I continue to wish happiness to those I love, and a very successful year to come. 대박!
As always, thank you to all my fans and everyone who has listened to my music, supported me, and offered words of encouragement and hope. To affect someone’s life positively through my music is all that can help me through my difficult times.
As noted in one of my previous posts, my new album Eternity has been sent off to distribution and is slated for worldwide release on May 30, 2017.
You can listen to a preview of all the songs on Eternity here.
Hey all. Long time since I posted. Things are still very active in the background. However, let’s get some news out of the way.
Firstly, one of my aunts passed away yesterday. This is never an easy time for the family, but I choose to try to not dwell on the pain and instead on the happy memories. My fondest memory of my aunt was during one of our visits when I was a small child. We just finished dinner with our Nana; we then went downstairs to my aunt’s apartment, and she sat us on her couch and gave us Stella D’oro cookies. The real, Italian ones that you get in New York. I’ll never forget that day. I think from that day on I always knew her as Aunt Cookie.
Second, I’m nearing completion of another studio album. This album is completely new, original material. I’m 10 tracks in, with probably another 2 to go. I’ll be posting clips up soon, as well as a possible website redesign.
Stay tuned. More to come.
I’ve been creating music using my synth workstation, the Yamaha Motif XS 8, for the past 7 years. It has served me well. I’ve learned the ins and outs of creating, meshing, and melding the sounds to get the exact reflection of what I feel, and to date I’ve been able to do just that without any external plugin or other instrument.
As with anything, you gradually outgrow the capabilities that you start with. Now begins the most radical shift in my music creation.
My signature sound is and always be a Yamaha, whether it be a C7 or a CFIII. How I arrive at that sound, however, will change. I have been vetting a number of powerful plugins that will truly usher my music into a new chapter, and eliminating my biggest obstacle: the dreaded polyphony.
6 tracks have already been laid for the new album. I may just shorten it rather than create a standard album of 10+ tracks and call it a release as-is, because I plan to build a full, proper studio to compliment my shift in music. This will ensure that you and I get nothing but the best, and that you hear exactly what the true nature and feeling of what I intend you to hear. This is what I call “growing the music”.
The wait will be worth it, so just have a little more patience. Great things coming soon. Don’t forget to listen to all my music here, and if you like it buy it, and let your friends listen too!
Until next time!
Been a while since I posted; been very busy, a lot has gone on in between now and the last time I wrote.
In between then, I’ve been busy upgrading my studio. New equipment, studio monitors, power racks, sound effects plugins and libraries. It takes a while to get them all set up and for you to get used to them. That being said, I still have a few more things to go, and I’ll be done.
All the while, I have not stopped making music. I am again 5 songs into a brand new album. So far, this is no deviation from my original style. It’s “more of the same”, but better. I’m quite sure you all will like it. Maybe soon I will post a clip or two for you to listen to.
In the meantime, I’m glad to see that everyone is enjoying my previous album efforts, like If You Were Here and One And Only. I’m happy to report that my music is indeed getting playtime worldwide, to include Japan, South Korea, Australia, and South America, just to name a few. It means a lot to me, and I hope that my music is changing someone’s life for the better. Even just one is enough for me.
Until next time!
Continuing on with a track a week, this song is called Summon the Dawn. It is the tenth track off my new album If You Were Here. Enjoy.
This song is called Beauty of the Forest. It is the ninth song off my new album, If You Were Here, and is a full orchestral score, very peaceful and soothing. Enjoy.
The 8th track off my new album If You Were Here is called Innocence. I made this song right after a little more than a month hiatus, which culminated in the composition of six songs till the album was released, which I mentioned earlier.
This track is kind of uplifting; it portrays an innocence so welcoming and inspiring. Kind of like my inspiration for the song. So without further ado, here it is. Enjoy.
This song is the crown jewel of my new album, the title track: If You Were Here. This song captures the essence of the album and summarizes all the feelings and inspiration I had for this album and condenses it into four and a half minutes. I swear that I myself must have listened to this song over 3,000 times by itself; I’ve had my music app on repeat for so long, and I still haven’t tired of it.
There’s a reason why it’s the title track. I hope you enjoy it, as it is a wonderful dedication, and exhaustively, painstakingly, and intricately composed and engineered.
During the composition of this album, here is where it started to get real.
While I like all my tracks, of course, there are always preferences of some over the others. This song is called Story of Dreams. It is the sixth track off my new album If You Were Here.
This song marked a major shift in not only the way I make music, but the driving force behind it. From here on out, I feel that songs hit their mark without being long and drawn out; they tell a story much more clearly for those who listen. And from here, began a new journey that I’m certain will lead to wondrous reflection and imagination. To you who inspires me, thank you; this one and all the rest are for you.
And without further ado, here is the song.
