Take a listen to one of the full tracks from my new album, City of Lights. The name of the song is Oriental Magnetism. I’m sure that by listening to it, you’ll know why I named it such.
The inspiration behind this song was actually quite a surprise to myself. I didn’t realize I had ideas or feelings like the ones I did, and it manifested into this song.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!
Just wrapped up track 11 for the new album. Hard work, hard work, but this will definitely pay off.
Due to some personal hardships, a lot of things got slowed down. I’m hoping that they will taper so that I can continue my career.
This new album is much edgier. Creative-wise, skill-wise, technological wise, I feel that this has been a wonderful learning process. I promise, you will enjoy this one. It’s slated to hopefully be released in March this year. I can’t make any promises, but that’s what I’ve got scheduled.
Yanni likes the videos I made covering his songs years ago. I’m glad he enjoys it. I’ve been talking to him via Twitter; he’s gracious enough to answer my tweets.
Anyhow, it’s late. We got SNOWED IN with that blizzard. And more is supposed to come! :-0
Ok, off to sleep! Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for lots more to come!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Yanni himself complimented a video that I composed from scratch, with my brother performing! He said this to me on Twitter:
“Wow – you both sound great! Thank you for sharing that video.”
Here’s a screenshot to prove it!
Coming from the man himself, this is a HUGE confidence booster. I truly hope to collaborate with Yanni as soon as he is able to, as this proves to me, AND my brother, that we are capable of making great music!
Man, still can’t believe it! Yanni is like our musical teacher, our influence. To have him say that, means a lot!
P.S. This is the video that I was talking about. You can also find it in the Media section of the site.
So I linked up my site with Twitter. But that’s not the primary reason for this post.
I’ve been thinking a lot about collabs for my new album. You can find those who I’ve followed on my Twitter page as possibilities for collaboration. I’d love to do it. Seriously.
